Realogis and Brockhoff acquire sole tenant for Logicor Park Hamm with an area of 17,870 m²

In a joint deal, the property consultant firms Realogis and Brockhoff have acquired a sole occupier for Logicor Park Hamm. Realogis acted as sole agent for the lessor Logicor, while Brockhoff assisted the lessee, the company Heinrich Dehn.
The Hamburg-based company Heinrich Dehn concluded a lease agreement for a 17,870 m² logistics property in Hamm. The property is called Logicor Park Hamm, which was completed last year and was built on behalf of Logicor, one of the largest owners, managers and developers of modern logistics properties in Europe. The site offers a total of 14,900 m² hall space, 2,600 m² mezzanine space and 540 m² office and break rooms with premium fittings.
“The location, with direct access to the A2 motorway and the immediate proximity to the A1 and A44 motorways on the north-eastern edge of the Ruhr region, makes the site very attractive for us as a fulfilment service provider. The icing on the cake is the sustainable and high-quality fit-out of the property,” said Friedrich Tönnies, Director of Contract Logistics at Heinrich Dehn, explaining the decision to rent the property. “In this state-of-the-art logistics and fulfilment centre, we can store our goods securely according to customer requirements and offer extensive value-adding services.”
Sustainability certification of “very good” in accordance with the BREEAM standard is being sought for the new building: The logistics hall is heated using fossil-free VRF heat pumps. 2,100 photovoltaic panels on the green roof will produce 1.5 MWp of electricity. The property is also insulated with thermal insulation in accordance with the BEG-40 standard, LED lighting, and a green roof. Indoors, the roof structure made of glulam beams creates a pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor facilities were designed with native plants and, in some areas, with greenery on the façade. Around 12,000 m³ of recycled concrete from the demolition of the existing building were reused directly on-site for the base layers of the new building and the traffic areas.
Imran Kaya, who oversaw the leasing process for Brockhoff, added: “In the Ruhr region, brownfield developments offer exactly the kind of space that the logistics sector is looking for.
