Money laundering prevention at REALOGIS
The German Anti-Money-Laundering Act (GwG) obliges certain groups of professions to obtain information about their customers and the persons acting on their behalf. This serves to "identify customers in accordance with Article 11 GwG" and ensures the necessary transparency in business transactions. The real estate industry is one of these professional groups.
As the German market leader in industrial and logistics real estate, we take our legal obligations very seriously. For this reason, we ask you to have the following documents at hand. We will approach you about them upon being commissioned.
- Obtain a copy of your commercial register entry
- Verify the identities by obtaining your valid identity card or a comparable document of the beneficial owners
Please note that you are obliged to provide us with these documents. After all, all parties involved benefit from a responsible, ethically correct partnership!
