REALOGIS secures new manufacturing and logistics location in Hanover

Hanover, 10 November 2022 – Fidlock GmbH – a company founded in Hanover in 2007 that produces magnetic fastening systems such as buckles for bags, satchels, helmets and shoes – has opened a second location close to its head office. In a deal advised and brokered by Realogis – Germany’s leading consultancy for industrial, logistics and commercial properties – the development company Fidlock has signed a lease for a logistics property comprising 5,240 m² of usable space at Rudolf-Diesel-Weg 3/corner of Industrieweg 9.

As of the fourth quarter of 2022, a total of 4,920 m² of hall space and nearly 320 m² of office and social space has been available to the user, plus around 1,400 m² of paved space for the manufacture and storage of drinking bottles for the sports and outdoor sector.

The commercial property, which is centrally located in the Brink-Hafen industrial district, is let by Neukirch Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG, an owner-operated property landlord from Hanover.

“The new location will be used to store and manufacture end products ready for sale on the bicycle, sports and outdoor markets, such as drinking bottles for cycling,” says Jennifer Schlegel from Fidlock GmbH. The company has around 100 employees, who generated turnover of EUR 28 million in 2021. Fidlock is a supplier to over 10,000 brands around the globe.

“The challenge was to secure Fidlock a suitable property close to its headquarters,” reports Fabian von Rohr, a consultant at Realogis Immobilien Deutschland GmbH. The existing property on Rudolf-Diesel-Weg is only 11 km away from the head office and can be easily reached via the nearby A2 motorway.
