REALOGIS secures additional pharma logistics location
Frankfurt / Stockstadt am Rhein, 14 June 2023 – In a deal advised and brokered by Realogis, Aviapharm GmbH is expanding its warehouse capacity in the Gross-Gerau district in southern Hesse. The company, which provides warehousing and transportation services with a focus on the pharmaceutical sector, is opening a branch in Stockstadt am Rhein around 30 kilometres from its headquarters in Kelsterbach.
According to Germany’s leading consultancy for industrial, logistics and commercial properties, Aviapharm has signed a lease for 6,700 m² of hall space, 380 m² of office space and 775 m² of mezzanine space in a new build. The free-standing property on the street Elf Morgen will be completed in the summer of 2023. Its owner is Axxus Capital SARL.
“Due to fully utilised capacity at its headquarters in Kelsterbach, Aviapharm was looking for another energy-efficient new build for its high-end transportation solutions,” reports Denis Tanque, Senior Consultant at Realogis Immobilien Frankfurt GmbH. The location, the large number of ramps and the building quality were key factors in deciding to sign the lease.
The property is located right on the B44, allowing direct access to the A67 and A5 motorways. Within a radius of 50 kilometres, both the Rhine-Main region with approximately 5.8 million residents and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with approximately 2.8 million residents can be reached.
