• Shortage of space already registered in the Gießen area, too

Frankfurt, 26 January 2023 – Realogis, Germany’s leading consulting firm for industrial, logistics and commercial properties, has concluded a medium-term lease for around 15,000 m² of usable space with the logistics, fulfilment and marketing services provider weLOG in the Lahn-Dill district.

This relates to a transshipment property that offers the service company 12,365 m² of pure hall space and 2,560 m² of office space. Located at Rodenbacherstrasse 33-47 in Haiger on the A45 motorway, the free-standing building has 130 ramp gates. The owner is an institutional investor.

“We will use the transshipment property for various contracts, enabling us to handle additional business not far from our headquarters in Wetzlar and press ahead with our expansion,” reports Manuel Rupp, Managing Partner of weLOG GmbH.

“weLOG was originally looking for expansion space in Wetzlar. The lease in Haiger shows that already hardly any large spaces for retail, industry and logistics are available any more in the Gießen/Wetzlar area, meaning that companies need to look further afield,” comments Julian Petri, Managing Director of Realogis Immobilien Frankfurt GmbH.
