Realogis advises freight forwarder on new hub at Duisburg logport

Düsseldorf/Duisburg, 23 January 2024 - Realogis, Germany's leading consultancy for industrial, logistics and commercial properties, has advised an Asian freight forwarder on the choice of location for its new hub.

Since January 2024, the user has had approximately 4,850 m² of storage and handling space and around 340 m² of office, social and communal space, all of which meets the standards for new buildings, as well as approximately 1,100 m² of open space at its disposal on the corner of Bremerhavener Strasse and Europaallee. Deliveries are handled via seven dock levellers and two ground-level sectional doors.

The property is located at the logport in Duisburg-Rheinhausen and forms part of the Port of Duisburg, which offers trimodal connections to water, rail and road transport. The A40 and A57 motorway junctions are just a few minutes' drive away. The Duisburg junction (A40/A59) and the Meerbusch junction (A57/A44) are directly adjacent, providing optimal connections to the entire Ruhr region and the greater Düsseldorf and Cologne areas.
