Dietz AG leases 35,300 square metres new logistics and distribution centre – REALOGIS acts as broker
Frankfurt, 17 December 2025 – REALOGIS Immobilien Frankfurt GmbH (REALOGIS Frankfurt), Germany's leading consulting firm for industrial and logistics properties and commercial land, has brokered a long-term lease for a logistics and distribution centre in Bürstadt-Bobstadt, south of Darmstadt. The owner of the approximately 35,300 sq m property is Dietz AG, Bensheim. The future sole user is a German logistics company.
New building in the ‘Im Mittelfeld Süd’ commercial park with direct connection to the B44
The new construction project is currently being built in the Bürstadt-Bobstadt ‘Im Mittelfeld Süd’ industrial park south of Darmstadt and has a direct connection to the B44 federal highway. The total 35,300 sq m of rental space will be divided into 30,600 sq m of hall space, 2,900 sq mof mezzanine space and 1,800 sq m of office and social space. The property includes 100 car parking spaces.
The client for the new building is a subsidiary of Dietz AG. Goldbeck, Frankfurt branch, has been commissioned as the general contractor.

‘This deal is one of the largest logistics property leases in Germany this year. This new building in the Darmstadt area once again demonstrates that the location and logistics property in the region are in demand despite the subdued economic situation,’ explains Julian Petri, Managing Director of REALOGIS Frankfurt.
Sustainable project development in accordance with the EG40 standard
Designed in accordance with the EG40 efficiency building standard, the new development meets high requirements for energy efficiency and resource conservation. A photovoltaic system with an output of around 1 MW on the roof contributes significantly to the building's own power supply. The heat supply is based on modern air heat pump technology and enables fossil-free operation. DGNB Gold certification is being sought. Completion of the logistics and distribution centre and handover to the user is planned for November 2026.
