Düsseldorf/Hilden, 23 November 2023 – Realogis – Germany’s leading consultancy for industrial, logistics and commercial properties – has successfully brokered the sale of a light industrial property in Hilden that is fully let on long-term leases. Around 6,300 m² in size, the stand-alone property is located at Max-Volmer-Strasse 14 and has been developed since 1991 as a commercial building comprising approximately 3,000 m² of floor space. The purchase price was in the single-digit millions.

The property was acquired by a private investor from Karlsruhe. The buyer is thus expanding its property portfolio in the logistics and light industrial sectors, initially concentrated in the Baden region, to North Rhine-Westphalia for the first time.

GHZ Matra AG is the long-time user of the approximately 2,150 m² of hall space and 850 m² of office space. Founded in Hilden in 1997, the international wholesale and marketing service company is involved in the seasonal catalogue business, online mail order listings and promotional goods in brick-and-mortar retail. GHZ has also launched several own brands on the market, including in the areas of cosmetics and care products, cleaning products and gardening.

The seller is a private consortium of owners.
