Düsseldorf, 28 August 2024 - Realogis, Germany's leading consultancy for industrial and logistics properties as well as commercial land, has advised the long-established Düsseldorf wholesale market, a mainstay of the regional economy and an important supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables, on finding a new home. At the end of the year, the wholesale market will close its doors at its previous location in the north of Düsseldorf and, through the exclusive brokerage of Realogis, will move just beyond the city limits to Hilden in a high-quality business park in the south of Düsseldorf.

The modern business park was built to the latest standards on an approx. 27,400 m² site in the ”Hülsen” industrial estate in Hilden and consists of 17 DGNB Gold-certified units. From the beginning of 2025, the Düsseldorf wholesale market will have a total of approx. 5,000 m² of hall space and 2,000 m² of service space available for fruit and vegetable wholesalers, producers and other food wholesalers. In future, 2,000 m² of office space will be used by fruit agencies, trading companies and commercial enterprises.

The property is conveniently located between the A59 and A3 motorways, which provide good connections to the cities of Düsseldorf, Cologne, Wuppertal and the Bergisches Land region.
