REALOGIS advises on long-term lease agreement for HILLWOOD's new development in Mönchengladbach Neuwerk

Düsseldorf / Mönchengladbach, 3 June 2025 – Realogis has secured a tenant for the 22,000 m² logistics property which the international investor and project developer Hillwood is constructing in Mönchengladbach Neuwerk. Thanks to the advice and brokerage services provided by Germany's leading consulting firm for industrial and logistics properties and commercial land, a global brand has signed a long-term lease for the Mönchengladbach II brownfield development on the former Real market site.

The two buildings at Krefelder Str. 643, which are aiming for DGNB Gold certification, offer a total of 20,184 m² of hall space, 600 m² of office space and 1,825 m² of mezzanine space, as well as 34 car and three truck parking spaces. Eighteen loading bridges, two jumbo loading bridges and two ground-level gates are available for goods delivery and distribution to end customers. The site has excellent connections to the motorway network, with the A44 and A52 motorways and, further afield, the A4, A57 and A61 motorways just a few minutes away.

‘We are delighted to have signed the lease agreement. The WGK3-compliant new construction of the two 10,000 m² industrial halls will be completed on schedule and is now fully let,’ reports André Wolters, Managing Director of Hillwood Germany GmbH.

"The decisive factors in signing the lease agreement were the good connections to the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp and the proximity to Duisburg for goods delivery. The new tenant can start moving in as early as July 2025. This will be the company's first logistics facility in North Rhine-Westphalia, and it will operate the site itself," adds Bülent Alemdag, Managing Director of Realogis Immobilien Düsseldorf GmbH.
