REALOGIS advises Frankfurt biotech company

Realogis – Germany’s leading consulting firm for industrial, logistics and commercial properties – has advised BioSpring Gesellschaft für Biotechnologie mbH on the expansion of its warehouse capacity. The SME and owner-managed biotech company based in Frankfurt has secured newly built space at Boschstrasse 10-12 in Rodgau on the basis of its advice from Realogis. BioSpring will be using the unit completed in 2021, which has 4,450 m² of warehouse and 350 m² of office space, from the fourth quarter of 2023.

“The decision was made to rent this property based on its availability at short notice, its direct proximity to the A3 motorway and the seamless use of the shelving system already in place and the forklifts,” reports Dennis Wohn, a consultant at Realogis Immobilien Frankfurt GmbH.

The property is being let by KS TOOLS Werkzeuge-Maschinen GmbH, which was advised by René Fäth, the founder and owner of Immobilien Consult.

BioSpring describes itself as a world-leading manufacturer of synthetic nucleic acids for use in the areas of therapy, diagnostics and R&D. The company, which employs around 600 people, has a production site in Frankfurt-Fechenheim and a subsidiary in San Diego, USA. BioSpring is not just expanding its logistics in the Frankfurt region, but also intends to build further production facilities in Offenbach.
