Hamburg, 28 November 2024 - Realogis, Germany's leading consultancy for industrial and logistics properties and business parks, has advised Boels Rental Germany GmbH on the conclusion of a lease agreement for a fully refurbished solitary property owned by Kaldox Management GmbH in the Hamburg metropolitan region.

Germany's largest company for the rental of machines and tools has concluded a 10-year rental agreement with an extension option for its subsidiary Boels Baulog in Glinde. The company is thus expanding the space capacities of its container business in the Hamburg catchment area.

The property ensemble at Glinder Weg 1a in Glinde was built in the 1980s for logistics purposes. The approx. 13,000 m² site is developed with two accessible hall buildings, a warehouse with 1040 m² of hall space and a production hall including a crane system with 1,200 m² of space. A separate office building also offers Boels Baulog approx. 170 m² of office and social space. The spacious outdoor area is paved with an asphalt floor and concrete slabs and is ideal for heavy goods transport.

Boels Baulog is a full-service provider for construction logistics, construction site equipment, construction site infrastructure and container hire and uses the rental property to provide equipment for construction site work of all sizes as well as for the maintenance and repair of equipment. Depending on customer requirements and the area of application, mobile space concepts are created or construction containers are customised according to customer needs.

KALDOX - one of the largest private portfolio holders for logistics and industrial properties in the east of Hamburg - invested a six-figure sum in the extensive refurbishment of the portfolio. This included the refurbishment of the external facades, the repair of the external surfaces as well as the complete core refurbishment of the social areas and the installation of a modern fence and gate system. The company has focussed on the logistics asset class since the 1990s and is extensively refurbishing its existing premises.

Boels is already a tenant of KALDOX at Pinkertweg 8, 22113 Hamburg.
