Realogis advises on leases for 25,000 sqm of new space for the automotive sector
Munich, 3 March 2020 – Realogis successfully advised the investor, bauwo, on concluding two leases in the Dingolfing district even before construction was completed. The first speculative phase of the “bauwo Logistikpark Süd” is currently being built in the municipality of Pilsting-Großköllnbach right by the A92 motorway. The strategically located business site was taken up by the companies Truck & Wheel and Hendricks Internationale Spedition, both of which specialise in the automotive sector. Each will move into a unit with approximately 10,500 sqm of hall space and around 2,000 sqm of office and ancillary space.
Promising negotiations are already under way for the third unit, said the leading consulting firm for letting logistics properties, industrial properties and business parks in Germany. The park will be complete by the end of the first quarter of 2020.
“We are delighted to be able to welcome two companies with high credit ratings to the Dingolfing automotive location, and we are seeing excellent demand for high-quality logistics and industrial space,” said Florian Stork, Managing Director of Realogis.
“We have taken a long-term approach to the purchase of the land and see considerable potential for further locations. We are optimistic that we will also be able to use the remaining 50,000 sqm of land for commercial space,” said Bernhard Rückert, Managing Director of bauwo. The building application for another 20,000 sqm of usable space has already been submitted.
